Brashear Baseball at Novinger May 1, 2018

Brashear baseball was playing on the road at Novinger
Tuesday. The Tigers struck first with a run in the top
of the 2nd, but Novinger answered with four runs in the
bottom of the 2nd. Brashear added a run in the 6th and
another in the 7th, but fell to Novinger 5-3. Zane Sykes
had 2 hits for Brashear with Quin Allen and Aden Zentz 
also having hits. Brhet Place got the start and pitched
a complete game.

In the JV game, Novinger took a 5-0 lead before Brashear
got on the scoreboard with 2 runs in the 3rd and another
2 runs in the 4th. Novinger continued to add to their lead
and pulled away for an 11-4 win. Garrett Housman had 2 hits
for Brashear with Wyatt Reeves, Quin Allen, Cody Mallet,
Hunter Maxymezar, and John Gerhold all having hits. Quin
Allen got the start for Brashear with Garrett Housman, 
Austin Peterson, Justin Leedom, and Cody Mallet pitching 
in relief.
